AIMS Lab
The Advancing and Innovating Mental Health in Schools (AIMS) Lab explores ways to improve mental health outcomes for students, particularly those from culturally or linguistically diverse backgroupds. See below for our work!

01
Border Schools
We seek to understand the unique characteristics of schools in the U.S. Mexico Borderlands by using federal data and talking to school staff about their experiences.
02
Immigrant Students
We seek to understand the needs of students and families who have immigrated to the United States. We have a strength-based approach to sharing what makes these students thrive.

03
Student Mental Health
We explore the mental health of students and how schools respond. We look at evaluation processes and interventions that best support students. We also study school safety and how to help students feel supported.
